School lunches are cooked on site, provided by ABM Catering, and are very popular with children and staff. There are several delicious choices of main course and dessert each day, including a sandwich and jacket potato option. The dates of each week are on the menu over a cycle of three weeks. There are four meal choices each day including a vegetarian, sandwich and jacket potato option. Your child’s lunch will need to be pre ordered a week in advance. The cut off is every Friday for the following week. Please discuss the choices at home so that your child makes the choice that they are most likely to enjoy.

If your child has an allergy or dietary requirements please contact the school office initially. You will be given further information about the next steps and be asked to complete a form. From September, the cost of a school lunch will be £2.85.
Free School Meals
If you are entitled to Free School Meals you can apply by either:

What are the qualifying benefits?
If you receive an income-related benefit such as Income Support, income-related Employment and Support Allowance, or income-based Jobseekers Allowance you will be entitled.
You may also be entitled if you receive Universal Credit and your annual household earnings are below £7400; or you receive Child Tax Credits and your annual household income is below £16,190.
You will not be entitled if you receive Working Tax Credit, unless you have very recently started to claim, in which case free school meals can be provided only for a four week period.
All children in reception to Year 2 receive a free school meal.
