Welcome to The Den, St Barnabas CE Primary School’s very own wrap-around care club! Located in the heart of our school hall, we provide a safe, friendly, and exciting environment where children from St Barnabas can start and end their day with a smile.
A Great Start at Breakfast Club
Kickstart the day with our Breakfast Club! Whether your child needs a nutritious start or just wants to catch up with friends before the bell rings, we’ve got them covered.
- When: 7.30am – 8.40am
- Cost: £4.75 per session
- Fuel Up: A delicious breakfast is provided to ensure everyone is ready to learn.
Afternoon Adventures at After School Club
After a busy day of learning, children can unwind at The Den with a fantastic variety of rotating activities and tasty snacks.
- When: 3.15pm – 5.15pm
- Cost: £6.50 per session
- Recharge: After-school snacks are provided daily.

Making Childcare Affordable
We want to support our working families. There are several ways to help manage the costs of wrap-around care:
- Tax-Free Childcare: Eligible parents can get a £2 top-up from the government for every £8 paid.
- Universal Credit: Families claiming Universal Credit may be able to claim back up to 85% of eligible childcare costs.
- Upfront Support: Help with initial costs may be available for parents moving into work or increasing their hours.
- Childcare Support Checker: Visit the Childcare Choices website to see how much you could save.
How to Book
Ready to join the fun? All bookings must be made through ParentPay. If you need an activation letter to set up your account, please pop into the school office and we will be happy to help!
