As with previous years we would like to raise money to subsidise school trips and pay for Christmas presents. This year we would like to raise extra funds to buy IT equipment for the school and the following events are being planned over the next 2 school terms:
Friday 5th April 3pm : Spring Fair
Tuesday 7th May 8.45 am : Clothes Sale. (Bag to School on Thurs 2nd May & sort clothes Friday 3rd May pm)
Thursday 4th July: Quiz Night 7-9pm
Friday 12th July : Sports Day and Summer Fair
Wednesday 17th July 2-4pm : Uniform Swap Shop. Items to be brought in Monday 15th July and sorted on Tuesday 16th
Thursday 18th July : Leavers’ Disco 6-9.30pm
More information will be sent out in advance of each event. If you feel that you could offer any help at one or all of them please can you let me know in person or via the St Barnabas PTA email firstname.lastname@example.org. We need volunteers to help plan, prepare and man stalls at the Spring Fair. This also includes finding willing volunteers to do face painting and crafts. We have one balloon animal artist already but another would be greatly appreciated. Alternatively, if you have any other talents you are happy to share we would love to hear from you.
The next PTA meeting will be held on Friday 8th March at 9am in the school hall and will be planning for the Spring Fair. Everyone welcome.
