Early in October we were very fortunate to be visited by ‘FACE”, the ‘Countryside Classroom’.
We learned so much about all aspects of farming and were able to take part in several workshops throughout the afternoon. Julian, from FACE, taught us about cereals, showed us how to make butter from milk and mill flour. We planted herbs and learned about growing vegetables. Our favourite workshop was the cooking workshop because we made fruit salad and salmon dip in tortilla wraps!
