Easter at St Barnabas

Easter is such an important time of year at St Barnabas. We talk about and reflect a lot about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. Although the Easter Story is very sombre at times we focus more on the joyous story of Jesus coming back to life and joining His Father in Heaven.

During our Church service our Foundation Stage children receive the gift of a Bible from the school. The children led the service and did a fantastic job of retelling the Easter Story.

We also held our annual Easter Egg competition. Every year it gets more difficult to judge the winners as the eggy creations the children bring in are ever more inventive and eggciting!

Below are some photographs from our Easter service and some of the competition entrants.
